.
Only a man can be “hung.”

Goodell gets off on a technicality.

There was confusion over the measuring gauges and time of measurement.

I play LOTS of senior competitive volleyball where the pressure of the balls is around 4.2 psi. I have yet to find three different gauges that will come up with the same identical readings and my latest gauge is digital........

Each team providing their own balls should be able to inflate the balls to their own specifications. That way each team gets their own advantage.......which evens out.

The temperature at Pittsburgh on December 4 was 42 degrees at halftime. The temperature at Gillette Stadium was 48 degree during halftime of the AFC Championship Game on January 18, 2015. According to the Ideal Gas Law and all else equal, we would expect the average pressure of the footballs at Heinz Field to be lower than the average pressure of the footballs at Gillette Stadium.

But that's not what was actually observed. Even though it was colder at Heinz Field, the average pressure of the Steelers' balls was 11.6 psi. The mean pressure of the warmer Patriots balls at the AFC Championship game was less than 11.3 psi.

One would hope this would disabuse all the Brady haters once & for all that this PSI question was nothing but an excuse for the NFL to go after the Patriots at the behest of the other league owners.....the league will never touch this NYG/Steelers thing because it would expose the whole fake which hunt.

Ever since the NFL gave a more scientifically accurate explanation of the Ideal Gas Law that MIT scientists did, I have believed that Patriots fans are the most scientically illiterate fans in the country. This thread does nothing to change that belief.

The NFL officials now have the footballs in their possession during games and monitor the air pressure so there is no tampering by players. The issue with Brady was his direct involvement in deflating. I’m not sure what the issue is here.

deflategate might have been cover for something more egregious...like how Jordan was quietly retired and away from the game....we’ll never know how deep his gambling went..

I agree that Goodell is a fool and a pox on the league. I wonder about the balls though. What if they were filled in a warm locker room to 12.5, then brought out onto the field in the snow...

Goodell should be hung

Even if he is, which I doubt, he should be fired.

Patriots are 11-2. I’m going to say it, TOM BRADY IS THE GREATEST NFL PLAYER OF ALL TIME, EVER.

Deflategate was the biggest pile of s**t since Spygate. Neither “Gate” made a difference in NEW winning or losing. Both “Gates” were nothing more than the rest of the NFL getting even with NEW.

IF, IF NEW got ANYTHING useful out of Spygate...was Belichick the first (or last) coach to film/tape opposing teams? Nope.

Air pressure? Ok. So why did Brady DO BETTER IN THE SECOND HALF OF THAT COLTS GAME WITH “PROPERLY INFLATED” FOOTBALLS?

The NFL proved >>nothing<<. Anyone with a functioning brain synapse would agree. Jealous turds whose teams suck? Not so much.

“But, but, but Tom Brady DESTROYED HIS IPHONE!” So what? I wouldn’t let anyone look at my phone either.

When garbage like Leonard Little, Ray Lewis and Lawrence Phillips get away with everything including murder with barely a slap on the wrist, but one of the greatest players ever gets a 4 game suspension for...air pressure...there’s big problems with the sport.

Actually, Goodell is the perfect Commissar for the NFL: A s**tbag puppet dancing at the behest of his s**tbag masters.

So, so glad I canceled cable and don’t contribute to this garbage.

This whole incident is proof that “men” are just as bad at soap opera watching as women.
