No brain required to import terrorists

One of life’s great mysteries is the fact that people with high intelligence scores are so often stupid – not just stupid, but breathtakingly so.

I have seen it in my personal and professional life, as I am sure that you have also. Examples abound. Here is just one. I once worked for an organization that was obviously failing. A concerned high-ranking person asked me if I had noticed any problems in the company. I listed several, all of them significant. He then gave me a blank stare and said something to the effect of Good, I’m glad to see there are no problems and walked away.

Here is a more serious one – one you also, no doubt, have noticed. For decades now, Islamic radicalism has been a dominant factor in worldwide terrorism. It is so blatantly obvious that no one, we would think, could possibly have missed it. Yet seemingly intelligent people steadfastly refuse – absolutely refuse – to acknowledge that fact. Absurd excuses are made for cold-blooded murderers who ruthlessly kill and maim innocent children, women, and men, and who do so not only without remorse, but with glee.

Barack Obama has suggested that the problem stems from unemployment among young Arab men. Others blame oppression by Israelis. Western imperialism is cast as the villain. How about the Crusades?

How about the fact that we are not muslims and we are successful in life. It is an insult to their imagined supremacy.

It’s cognitive dissonance. The idea that Islam inspires these atrocities is in direct conflict with the leftist belief that Western civilization, Christianity, and Capitalism are responsible for all evils in the world.

In the face of that dissonance, the rational thing to do is to abandon, or at least critically re-examine your previously held views, but most people are more emotional than rational, so they just cling to their old beliefs and find ways to rationalize the dissonance away.

Sorry to get religious, but I believe it is not so much the presence of the devil, but the absence of belief in God and ability to see the light! I always believed in the devil, but got to see him in action in the ME. Unfortunately, these “smart” people are so stupid they blame the devils work on Israel. You can’t fix stupid...or Lucifer!

‘Slimes are useful tools for destabilizing the status quo. There is no way licentious, amoral liberals are ideologically aligned with a culture that is based on one of the most repressive religions in history. islime is just a useful wedge to drive into the West’s monolith to dissolve its unity and split it into pieces.

I'm living this right now and it is aggravating. I have zero faith in the ability of my superiors to make the correct decisions.

Likewise, I know that most of us have felt the same about Ødungo. It's like we're riding in the back seat of a careening car while the driver fiddles with the radio and plays with his iphone.

Somewhat off topic, but in my life, some of the best educated highly degree people I have known, were utterly lacking in life skills, social skills, common sense about life.

On the other hand, some of the least formally educated people I have known, were the nicest, down to earth, compassionate people, people who lacked a formal degree, but had the common sense and drive and ambition to run their own businesses.

Some of the best educated people with advanced degrees, are utterly clueless about certain things. Such people tend to be liberal, which may be part of their mindset.

And for the topic at hand here, it is beyond their comprehension that members of a religion of peace want to destroy us. It offends their world view to think, that we should ban entry of Muslims, for example, because in their liberal world view, that would be “discrimination”, and to liberals, “discrimination” is among the seven deadly sins.

How about the Crusades?
************************

A reaction by Christians to 400 years of muslim aggression, conquest and slaughter.
From 622 when Mad Mo unleashed his jihad on the world it only took 100 years before they had taken all of the middle east, north Africa, Spain and were pushing into France.
It was only their defeat by Charles Martel at Tours in 732 that Christianity survived.

We are naive to think they are stupid and this is not intentional. The left has always collaborated with terrorists and violent groups to try and deconstruct western civilization.

Last night I saw upon the stair a jihadIst who really wasn’t there. He wasn’t there again today, oh how I wish he’d go away.

BUT if you import tens of millions of them and let them take over the host country they will no longer be terrorists. They will be the morality police

i used to be a programmer for a large department store chain on the beast coast. all their SW was written in-house, and not very well quality controlled. i reported that their main accounting program had serious errors that under=reported their liabilities by orders of magnitude, and that their payroll program routinely crashed, not paying things like workers comp, etc..

they fired me.

two years later they had a headhunter look me up. i had a much better, more fun job. within six months they were completely gone.

European Christianity was again threatened at the Gates of Vienna in 1683. The Poles, led by King Jan III Sobieski, turned them back. The Polish "Winged Hussars" made a spectacular appearance.

Don’t forget Vlad

Dunno. Did Vlad kill more Islamists than his own people?
