I lost a hundred and five pounds drinking 3 diet sodas a day, and sometimes going to McDonald’s or Wendy’s.
the lady who celebrated her 116th birthday last year had 3 Diet Dr Peppers for the past 40 years.

Phosphoric acid is in rust remover. It’s also in soda pop and many foods. It supplies phosphorus needed by your body.
To: Signalman
Many sodas,Coke and Pepsi in particular contain phosphoric acid, the main ingredient in naval jelly. Before I had bodywork done on my 64 I used the stuff to control the rust in the trunk and rocker panels. A common problem with Chevys from those years. Also, phosphoric can be used to treat aluminum prior to painting. One reason I rarely drink soda anymore.

Coffee contains the killer chemical dihydrogen Monoxide....
A lot of foods also contain natural sources of mono-sodium gutinate ie. MSG...
Time to clutch them pearls...

I tried diet soda when it first came out, and never finished the first can. It had a terrible chemical after-taste, which acted as a sort of warning to me.
I’ve never had another sip of the stuff.

Did you know that the chemists who developed rust remover used a diet soda ingredient?
Who really cares? Everything is a form of chemistry.

Is too healthy bad for you?

And we breathe a mixture of chemicals in order to live any one of which individually would kill us so what's a little rust remover anyway?

The stupidity offered up in this article is of the highest grade, and it provides quality entertainment and endless opportunities for ridicule.
experts at Imperial College, London claimed sugar-free drinks wont help you lose weight or avoid Type-2 diabetes.
Sugar substitutes weren't created for people to lose weight and avoid diabetes. They were created so that diabetics could enjoy beverages that didn't use sugar.
I wonder if the author is aware that orange juice contains the chemical that makes paint stripper work. She would probably go insane if she knew of all the highly toxic chemicals she consumes every day from foods she considers healthy. Idiots on parade.

It tastes like rust too. LOL! Diet soda has been a gag from the beginning.
Drop regular soda for just a few days and peel off the waist line. Limits. We can do it, people.
