Never really prosecuted etc. etc.

Well, “they” appear to be two different groups. Trump’s U.S. Attorney’s offices threw the book and them, and “a judge” (no name given, but presumably an obamanoid) let them all go. I imagine by this time they are all out of town.
If they don’t show up for their court date then there will be warrants for their arrest. The new AG needs to make sure that those who run riot in masks and destroy property and injure police will be prosecuted as felons and end up with records that will follow them forever. These aren’t peaceful protestors and the people who are paying them need to be charged also.
I guess destruction of private property isn’t going to be considered “free speech” any more. Good - lock ‘em up!

I agree. For the past eight years, and for that matter decades before that, violent protests have been spreading, because the government does nothing against it, and even encourages it. Not much different under Bush than under Clinton and Obama. Bash in a few heads, burn cars, rob and burn stores, and you’re a HERO!
Now they’re going to discover that things are different.
