I’m sorry for your family’s loss.
We can be discerning enough, to say that Oprah is a fine employer, doing some great unexpected things for employees, but still be on the wrong side (in our opinion) on the political issues of the day.
Anyone here really take issue with what I just wrote?? If so, have at it.
In my ‘drunken past’ in this forum I have trashed Oprah with passion.
I’m not going to agree with her views on many issues at any time, but looking into her background I see something bad happened to her early in life.
She was used sexually by a relative.
That’s one common experience I share with her.
Her insanity in terms of liberalism in her mainstream media stardom and my not so liberal insanity in my not so star studded media experiences including this forum I like to think of as a common experience, too.
My sense is that Oprah needs some sobriety and sanity in her life to help her withdrawal from the political insanity.
She seems to have sought it in her lifetime but I sense she hasn’t found it yet.
I also heard the rumor that “60 Minutes” is also bring Maury Povich on board for a special monthly report on DNA tests in Washington. His first report will finally settle the question: “Is Bill really Chelsea’s dad?”

Her tv channel has low low ratings.
Once she left ABC she fell off the radar.
And she is still fat despite years of dieting. Weight Watchers is scamming everyone with her commercials. Any weight lost is by a doctor sucking the fat out of her. Rumors can be read about that involving her.
Also when Mary Tyler Moore died she was interview by her “girlfriend” Gayle King on CBS and it was all about Oprah. I switched the interview off and came back a few times to see if they moved on to other people who actually knew her and worked with her but it was Oprah for like 20 minutes. No wonder she likes obama as they are both narcissist.
