In the 1990s, teaming her with 60 Minutes would have been a grand slam. Ten years ago...maybe a double. Today? Totally different atmosphere and her charm won’t carry much water.
They might be able to one decent ‘healing’ story for the first occasion....mostly in some blue state and around feminists. She’s going to find push-back and skeptics in abundance. Selling the general public on the Democratic group agendas will be mostly amusing stuff.
My prediction is that by the third Oprah episode...her pieces will be pronounced mostly a joke. She’s there to help work mostly the mid-election period of 2018....to save the Democratic Senators. It’ll become apparent where her segments mostly occur....red states with Democratic Senators. Maybe she’ll last a year at this, and then just walk away...realizing the party is screwed up and the message theme has to be totally redone.
