Sure, it’s called communism. Your company will be taken over by the Government and all profits will be distributed to the people.
Consider it a royalty. A robot takes your job, you are paid a royalty based on the robots production. If your royalty is 25% of the production you can expect quite a windfall. After all, they claim the robots can increase production 700%.
In other words, your royalty would be 1.75 times your current income.
Just imagine over the course of a few years robots take away 3 of your positions. Look at the windfall. Woohlah!!
We make fun of this today, but it is coming, unless WWIII or the next plague comes first.
The advances in robotits and A.I. are staggering. Add 3D printed organs and longevity and we may not recognize our world in 10 years. No matter the training and increased skills, the numbers of people who will not be able to find work will cause chaos we cannot imagine.
We already have a ‘basic income’ in this country in the form of welfare, food stamps, wic, etc., etc., etc.
With $20 trillion in Bush and Obama debt it’s going to be awhile before we can do that, not to mention Social Security obligations.
