This is a very common use in the Opposition Party to create #FAKENEWS!!
Most people don’t the fallacy very clearly. They usually feel that something isn’t right with the syllogism, but they cant pin it down, and wouldn’t know how to anyway - thanks public schools. Or they just want to emote, which is usually the case with the leftists, so they eat their lies and go along with it.
