philosophical Q?

If a tree falls on a lib does global warming increase or decrease?

Hot air <> carbon foot print?

Just askin.

Poor girl. What are the chances of that happening?
It’s a chance you take when going to an area with very old trees in it. Some trees are well over 1000 years old.

Living with trees is dangerous. Camping in the forest is dangerous. Life is dangerous.

When Governor Abbott was crippled by a tree it was a very windy day, too.

I’ve had 3 old Willows fall, this winter.

None hit us or the house.

The first was caught by a Leyland Cypress, a young Maple and a big Mulberry.

The second was caught by the big Mulberry.

The third, which happened a couple days ago, was also snagged by the same Mulberry.

I love that Mulberry tree.

It watches out for us.

I wonder how she voted. And how many times.

If she voted like I did, then I’m sorry to hear this.

If a tree falls in the woods and kills someone; are they really dead.

Sorry; a bit of gallows humor. Talk about some seriously bad luck.

What are the chances of that happening?

I invested about 90 seconds in surfing around looking for a number. Couldn't find one (but I didn't look very hard), though there are many anecdotal reports. It would seem to be rare enough that it's buried in the "other" category in the accidental death lists. We had a near neighbor killed a few years ago when a big tree came down suddenly after a heavy rain. He was in his car, still parked on the side of the street. I suppose that had he been on foot, he might have had a chance to dive out of the way.
