I think the speculation of Romo going to the Broncos may be the best guess. They did it with Manning, squeezing out a few years with him & winning the SB. Elway looks & acts like a goofball, but he does have a good football IQ.

That would be the only scenario that makes sense.

Romo is too old to start with a team that needs complete rebuilding like Browns or Rams or Jags....................

So the Broncos are already giving up on Paxton Lynch?

Good analysis. Romo was considered one of the best scramblers not so long ago, but he’s aged & too banged up to risk much of that now.

Broncos?
Cleveland?
Miami?
SF?
Jax?

Miami? What?

The Dolphins have not one, but 2 solid quarterbacks. They made the playoffs last year using their backup quarterback, with Ryan Tannehill being injured after leading the team on a long winning streak after starting out 1-4. They finished the season 10-6, I believe.

So there's certainly no need in Miami for a 36 year old Tony Romo, who is now damaged goods after suffering several serious injuries over the past few seasons...

Exactly what you said. TR probably the best QB ever not to even see a Super Bowl, except maybe for John Hadl.

One great season does not make a great quarterback. Kapperdink is proof of that. From Super Bowl to also ran.
Elliot was the primary reason Dallas had a great year. Any quarterback can pass off to a great running back. Let Randolph put together three or four years of being one of the top quarterbacks in the league before putting him in the elite class. If Romo can keep from getting hurt, he can win a Super Bowl with the right team.

Romo was a Pro Bowl selection for the 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2014 seasons, all seasons in which the Dallas Cowboys made the playoffs. He has also broken Dallas Cowboys team records including most games with at least 300 passing yards and games with three or more touchdown passes.

Since 2006, Tony Romo has a higher passer rating in the 4th quarter than any other NFL quarterback.

Unfortunately, your qualifying statement is huge. He does great, IF he can keep from getting hurt. He doesn't have the best record in that department. And the Broncos have a porous offensive line. Doesn't bode well for their being able to protect him.
