FULL TITLE: 22-year-old DREAMer detained and told she would be deported after holding anti-Trump press conference is released from ICE custody

The attorney for a young woman who was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement after speaking at a news conference about immigration says she's been released from custody on Friday, according to ABC News.

Daniela Vargas, 22, was arrested by ICE last week and informed that she would be deported back to her native Argentina without a hearing.

Abigail Peterson, her lawyer, said that authorities informed her that Vargas' case will be handled as a 'visa waiver overstay,' which means she won't be given a hearing and will be flown back to Argentina.

ICE agents detained Vargas on Wednesday after she spoke at a news conference in Jackson, Mississippi.

At the news conference, she called on President Donald Trump to protect immigrants like her.

She(?) is here illegally. A person in her circumstances (and with that mug) would be wise to keep a low profile.

In 1900, Argentina ranked #7 on the list of richest countries in the world. Then they discovered socialism.

As the child of illegal immigrants, Vargas qualified to stay in the country under Obama's DREAM act

There's no such thing. Acts are passed by Congress, Obama issued an executive order.

When engaging a lawyer she should have found one that was competent. As a visa waiver overstay, she has no right to a hearing or BS claim for asylum. She is eligible for a fast track deportation. She should have known that and avoided the spotlight.

From the article:
-—Vargas was released under an order of supervision, though it is unclear what the terms of that order are.
‘We expect Daniela to return to her friends and community in Mississippi shortly to resume her daily life and pursue her dreams,’ her attorneys said.-—

Will this ‘supervisor’ suffer any consequences if Daniela decides to disappear? Or moves on to blend in with the hombres in So California?

Indeed, All had to do is fly out once every year for a day and she’d be a-ok.

I arrived at JFK last week and happened to go through the foreigners line ( for some insane reason it was shorter ). It was at same time a flight from Toronto was going through. The utterly jaded Immigration Officers questions were hilarious; About 1/2 the Toronto Flight consisted of ‘Tourists’ who flew oiutbound on the early morning Toronto flight, got their papers stamped that they had ‘left the US’ and then returned on the evening flight back to NYC.

One poor dimwit messed up and had overstayed his US visa by a week or so, the Immigration Ofticer looked so pleased to finally, finally be able to stop this dimwit from returning for another 6 months of ‘tourism’

When you get a visa it is permission to enter the country and remain there for a finite period of time. When that time is up, so is your legal basis for remaining in the country. It is time to go home.

What am I missing?

"...Good grief, all she had to do is renew her status but she didn’t even bother to do that..."

Part stupidity and laziness.

But, I suspect, mostly arrogance.

She (and her illegally-here compatriots) are felons...and should be deported immediately never to return. Seize her assets and kick her a** out. She’s not a “dreamer”, she is a nightmare.

Stealing the dreams of Americans who can’t afford to send their own kids to college because they are being stuck with the bill for millions of illegals.
