Whenever Jenna or Barbara Bush, who were both over 21, would go out for a little fun, there were howls and screams from the main stream press about what tramps they were, and how they were bad role models for young women everywhere, except for the white trailer trash that they obviously represented.
Fast forward to Malia Obama, at 18, partying with the big boys, and appearing to be inebriated in public. The main stream press? CRICKETS! Well, except for the obligatory puff piece about how she and Sasha are such “good girls”, and true role models for young girls, regardless of race or sexual orientation (female or any male identifying this week as a female).
Hypocrisy? Double Standards? Heck, no.

The major problem, for NYC, is that those who ran in the primary, against de B. were ALL terrible. The GOP candidate was was a lump. Only 25% of those eligible ( and there were a LOT of ineligible to vote voted ) to vote, voted in the general. Hence NYC got stuck with a RED DIAPER BABY idiot; one who manages to ignore most laws.
