That skit where Ton Hanks is wearing a Trump hat was probably the only positive portrayal in the mainstream media of a real conservative during the whole campaign.
The left did Archie Bunker trying to make us look bad but Archie endeared himself to America.
Same thing with Alex B. Keaton on "Family Ties." They wanted to make Alex look like a raving Republican, but all that show did was make his parents look like a couple of doofus's by comparison.
This idea would make a great essay. Too bad I don't have the time to explore it even more.
