Yeah, I know Don Henley is a big-time lefty but this is just wrong on the hotel's part. It's basically a swindle to draw in tourists under false pretenses.

Hey, the Mexican owner is just getting his fair share of Henley’s fame. Henley is a racist, xenophobic bigot for suing this poor person of color.

Not sure how eager I’d be to get a room there.
I agree that any Eagle-related memorabilia or references should have been cleared with The Eagles first for intellectual property reasons but, then again, this is Mexico and who knows what their laws say about such matters?

Leftists believe in walls, both physical and economic, when it affects their property... Surely open borders should mean more than simply letting undocumented illegals in, and it should include all intellectual property such as pretending a hotel is associated with the Eagles. The racists need to just back off...
Or realize that the rule of law is to protect everyone, including leftists.

I’m waiting for Ian Anderson to chime in with “Yeah, but Don Felder swiped the music from me”.

You can still find nuts that believe that the album cover was satanic.
No, really, from a fuzzy out of focus guy in the background.

Are the guests allowed to leave? If so, the Eagles have no case.

The Todos Santos hotel was named Hotel California when it opened in 1950, but went through a series of name changes before a Canadian couple, John and Debbie Stewart, bought it in 2001, and according to the Eagles began using the original name in marketing. Looks like that hotel was named Hotel California before the Eagles even played an instrument. Don't these guys have something better to do ... like write some new songs?
