Oklahoma House of Representatives passed a resolution on May 8 declaring abortion to be murder and directing every public official in the state to use their authority to stop the murder of innocent children by abortion.
The resolution does not have the force of law but it does reflect the policy view of the Oklahoma House, which has 101 members 74 Republicans, 26 Democrats, and 1 vacancy. The resolution, HR 1004, passed by voice vote, and was introduced by Rep. Chuck Strohm, R-Jenks.
The resolution, in part, states that all human life is protected by Gods law and the highest laws of the land, and that the Declaration of Independence explains that all human beings are endowed by their Creator with the unalienable right to life.
Further, the Constitution of the United States mandates that no state shall deprive any human being of life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness without due process of law, nor deny any human being within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

So, the State of Oklahoma will be on record that abortion is murder. Block the door of an abortion clinic, and the State of Oklahoma will put you in prison.
When will we see the first sanctuary city or state—for babies?
Block the door of an abortion clinic and the state of Oklahoma won’t put you in prison. Because they now consider abortion murder. Can they prosecute abortionists and abortioners?
Admirable!
Well..... it fits the definition.... There are no more special needs kids than those who need to survive in a mother’s uterus. Planning to stop the beating heart of a special needs child is abhorrent murder. What difference does it make which month?
Maybe I should move back home.
My Mom would love that....ugh!
Hey now. We’re okay in Oklahoma.
Really?
The only reason Texas doesn’t fall into The Gulf of Mexico is because Oklahoma sucks...LOL!
I love that joke.
Seriously though, I do miss water skiing and sailing on Lake Ten Killer amd fishing at 14 mile creek. There are some 8 and 9 pound bass to be had where the creek flows into the lake but, my favorite is those tiny sand bass on a light tackle for children.
When sand bass hit a lure, on light tackle, it’s like fighting a monster to get them on shore and the zip like lightning parallel to the shore back and forth and back and forth.
So much fun.
And when I’m done, I go into Hulbert for a milkshake at the hamburger shack. Love that place.
Some days I go into Lost City to fish the creek for trout. A waste of time really, as I have never caught any over maybe inches but, I love catching them, admiring their colors amd tossing them back.
While I’m there I snack on the lemon grass and black berries which are everwhere.
I also use to hang out with the cattle, sometimes petting them. They are always so sweet.
I do not miss June Bugs and avoiding terrapins. Them turtles are everwhere and can really mess up your car if you run one over, as it is much like running over a boulder.
I even miss being able to shoot my guns in the middle if nowhere and no one cares. Unlike the pinko Kommiez here in California. Wooses...
Then there is Utica Square, where I love to shop or the Philbrook for an afternoon.
A friend owned the Galveston mansion when I lived there and sometimes I would take ladies to one of the caretaker cottages.
I would also watch the fireworks from the roof.
Use to participate in the annual float down the Arkansas. Great place to pick up on women folk.
Miss The Hoffbrau and S&J oyster for Happy Hour.
Wild Wild West and Cadillac Country were the two awesomest bars in Tulsa.
Also miss parties at The Petroleum Club. I met Jim Inhofe there , when he was mayor. Just a great guy and be was always introducing me high powered oil men and other wealthy businessman, and by virtue of proximity I found myself in the company of so many ladies.
I could go and on about OK and eveb tell people about so many interesting and wonderful places to enjoy.
Even the Mennonites of Inola are fascinating.
I tell the idiot gun control people about about shooting skeet at Southern Bills Country Club.
All you gotta do is turn around and you could be shooting vehicles on Lewis.
Best part though is in the winter you can ski the Tulsa mountain’s. (John Erling)
Mom, sisters and brother all live in Owasso but, in few years I’m thinking of buying one of those turn of the century mansions off Denver Avenue .
Lived in one and the woodwork is just fantastic.
Anyway, I’m done reminiscing...
May your sun rise in the East....
LIFE BUMP! Listen to the heartbeat of Americans. HOORAY Oklahoma!
