I’m sort of sick of classic action-dramas being turned into comedies. But Bay Watch? Why even bother?
Gee they sound surprised the masses didn’t want to watch this re-make. Gee they sound surprised we are sick and tired of Hollywood and the way they spew hate towards us on a daily basis.
Just today, Kathy Griffin has a pic of her with Trumps head in her hand. Yeah we really want to spend our money on them.

There are so few comedy movies that aren’t formulaic that I dont to that genre.
So $70m before P&A = at least $100m budget. Rule of thumb is you have to make back production costs in 1st 2 weeks to be profitable.

Guys watched Baywatch. David Hasselhoff was there to move any plot (thin as they were) along.
It was a good excuse to ogle Pamela Anderson - as if one needed an excuse.
Trying to make the guys the sexual attraction was never going to work. Women hear “Baywatch”, think “Babe-watch”, and go no further.
R-rated, any nudity or is it just 2 hours of penis jokes and f-bombs?
There was no internet to speak of when Baywatch was hot. There were only two reasons to watch Baywatch on TV, and both are available en masse on the internet. Free. Is there no such thing as a new idea for a movie?
One must use the Joe Bob Briggs rating system for such a film: How many pairs of breasts are in the film?
Hollywood managed to mess up a fantasy fun movie. Danger of drowning, being saved by really gorgeous lifeguards of the opposite sex in an ultimate beach environment. Besides that, the TV show actually conveyed valuable information about beach safety and lifesaving techniques in a fun way.
No more original ideas in Hollyweird, just remakes of remakes and TV shows made into failed movies.
I suspect he did it for fun and the $$$$$, not caring if it was going to bomb at the box office..........

It didn’t have the magic touch of the Hass. EVERYTHING Hasselhoff touched turned to gold.
Not funny or interesting. But GQ the fake magarag will still tell us The Rock will run for President.
I would never have paid to watch a big screen version of a syndicated show but beyond that Baywatch had one objective: eye candy.
It was probably inevitable but I read recently about one or more cast members talking about ‘flipping stereotypes.’ On Baywatch?!?! It’s T&A. They’re cast members chosen for their appearance. What ‘stereotypes’ are being flipped and how and why?
The problem with virtue signaling is that people attempt to do it when there is no virtue to signal. Put on your swimsuit and shut up.
You need David Hasselhoff for Baywatch. There is no substitute.
