First Lady Melania Trump has responded to Kathy Griffin’s now-infamous photograph of herself clutching Donald Trump’s bloody, severed head, describing the photo as “very disturbing” and “simply wrong.” A report Wednesday claimed that the First Lady’s 11-year-old son, Barron Trump, was watching television when the image flashed up on the screen as part of the news coverage of the incident. The president’s son reportedly became “panicked” over the photo because he did not know who Griffin was or the context in which the photo was taken.
“As a mother, a wife, and a human being, that photo is very disturbing,” Melania Trump said in a statement Wednesday. “When you consider some of the atrocities happening in the world today, a photo opportunity like this is simply wrong and makes you wonder about the mental health of the person who did it.”
The photograph, first published by TMZ Tuesday morning, shows the 56-year-old My Life on the D-List comedian holding up a bloody, decapitated head meant to resemble that of the president, in a photograph reminiscent of horrific pictures taken by Islamic State terrorists to celebrate their atrocities. The photo was taken during a shoot with L.A.-based artist Tyler Shields.
The image went viral Tuesday, drawing strong condemnation from both sides of the political aisle as well as thousands of calls for a boycott of Griffin’s current cross-country comedy tour.
The president responded Wednesday, saying the proliferation of the photograph had been particularly hard on his children, including Barron.
The image also reportedly led the U.S. Secret Service to open an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the photo shoot.

Kathy Griffin demonstrated to the world the real heart and soul of the Democrat party. A party that wants to overthrow the elected government of the United States, and publicly behead the president. Kathy is technically an insurrectionist
Not only Griffin, but everyone involved in that photo shoot and the publication of it should be targeted for prosecution.
I think Samantha Bee similarly demonstrates a hateful spirit and the soul of the democrap party.

It shows that Kathy Griffiths and many on the left are operating on the same level as Islamic terrorists. She is telegraphing their internal thoughts but like the “moderate” Muslims who denounce beheadings to deflect repercussions from themselves the leftist media have denounced her to avoid getting too much heat from what they have been stirring up.
Classy chick. I would not have been so classy. I would have said:
“Kathy Griffin is a hate-filled leftist. She has chosen to take an action that declares to the entire world that she is so filled with hatred that she is willing to wish for the death of a president. CNN must fire her. She must never perform at a show ever again. Amazon must withdraw her books and videos from the market. Then she must withdraw into a place where no one knows her and quietly choose a painless end to her life of insanity.”

This is a vital insight. Leftists and terrorists operate under the same rubric. They are both intent on forcing their convictions on others and destroying any they consider opposition.
The election process in our nation brings to power candidates their opposition disagree with, sometimes vehemently. Nevertheless, the process requires a cooperative spirit after the election based on the unity of the body politic.
For leftists there is no such unity. They are eternally at war with those who do not accept their position. Griffith’s act of vicious defiance perfectly illustrates the absolutely irreconcilable position of the Left.
There is at least one senator who is simpatico with her. There are countless leftists and numbskull citizens who agree with her actions. The real problem is terrorists of all stripes do not stand alone. They have a support system that allows them to do their evil. That is what must be dismantled. Trump and Netanyahu are facing the identical problem with Abbas in Palestine. The Muslim Brotherhood is similarly a support structure for terrorism.
The NYT, LAT, WPO, MSM, Soros, and the DNC provide comfort and aid to terrorists on the Left. That support structure, as well, must be dismantled if we are to be a people at peace with ourselves.
