The attack near Westminster, the blowing up of little girls, and now this is causing many to stop listening to the “stay calm, carry on” message that they keep getting from the politicians. They know it’s just going to keep happening and vigils, calls for unity, etc., will do nothing.
Even some of my liberal UK family members seem to be changing tone. They won’t call out “Islam” as such, but they’re using language like “too much immigration, we can’t take in everyone”. Remember, this is a country with “hate speech” laws that are used if you publicly speak out against Islam. So people seem to talk like this so they don’t get into trouble.
There’s a recognition that there’s thousands of terrorists and the system can’t handle it.
You’re probably right that there’s not yet critical mass but I don’t think it is far off.
I kind of think the British should ignore their government just sort of ... deal with the problem.
They then murdered little girls and other innocents.
There is literally no hope for such a nation.
I find it interesting that the historian Spengler predicted the English would lead the way to the Western “Silver Age.”

Gee the balloons, teddy bears, candles, flowers and singing give peace a chance didn’t change the hearts of the jihadists? Wake up Britons...you are under attack no different than during the Nazi Blitz endured by your grandparents. Instead of singing kumbaya you should be hunting terrorists, bringing back the gallows for convicted terrorists, deporting the families of terrorists and closing the mosque serving as viper dens for terrorism. For good measure allow your populous to arm themselves instead running and hiding. Imagine how one of these terrorist car ramming knifing incidents would play out in the streets of cities in the US where concealed carry is legal.
