When the employee informed her that there was not a white doctor on shift, the woman grows visibly angry and says: So youre saying, in the whole entire building there isnt one white doctor? Youre telling me that my kid has chest pains and hes going to have to sit here until four oclock? Can I see a doctor thats white, that doesnt have brown teeth and speaks English?
As the woman grows increasingly agitated at the front counter, you can see other patients in the waiting room trying to improve the situation and suggest that she take her son to a hospital instead. The woman appears to repeat her request: Hes sick and his chest is hurting. I dont want to see a doctor whos not white. I would like to see a white doctor and theres no white doctor in this whole entire building. The woman continued, adding God, what type of horrible country do I live in? So I want to see somebody else who doesnt have brown teeth and speaks English.

“No, she didn’t look green to me...”
LOL
That's a truly rare experience, that you had, and whilst not calling you a "liar", I find your story extremely difficult to believe.
Standard English
In Canada’s socialized medicine every doctor is a defacto government employee. The government will try to get the cheapest doctors not the best, so they bring them in from third world countries.
In the US things aren’t much better. Being a doctor is not what it used to be - the pay is gone and so is the status (unless you do face lifts) and you’re under total control of the government or insurance companies. So the smart whites are “operating” in finance where the real money is.
There are many excellent black doctors out there, but thanks to affirmative action the odds are very high that a random black doctor is quite bad.
Thanks for the tip! I'll pass your comment along to my nurse daughter - I'm sure she'll appreciate your erudite words.
It does have that ring to it, doesn't it? "Yessir, I was with Stonewall's boys when we came screaming down from the hills at the Battle of Mississauga." If there wasn't a Civil War battle fought in Mississauga, there should have been.
In fact, "y'all" translates to "eh" in the Canadian language what they speak up thar...
I had an extremely rare condition and several doctors could not figure it out and I was sent from one doctor to the next in several cites. Finally, one doctor figured out the problem and I was able to get better.
In the mid 80s my company gave cheaper health insurance employee share, if you went with a “HMO” for “health maintenance organization.
So I did. Still in my 30s, and had not had many health issues. But I had recently taken up long distance running, and had already experienced a “stress fracture,” which was diagnosed and treated by Sports Medicine-Podiatrist.
Anyway another similar injury seemed to be taking place, so I went to my HMO this time, since I had such coverage.
The MD was a black lady. I told her the new injury, and she told me to use crutches. The Podiatrist had never gone as far as crutches.
I lost confidence in the MD, and my impression was not very good.
Fast forward 30+ years, and I would be skeptical, fearing “affirmative action,” not top skills and knowledge.
I got the same reaction when I once showed up for a dental emergency and demanded a man doctor, not some broad without upper-body strength!
Give me a Chinese doctor over a white AMA drone any day of the week.
Chinese doctor understands the body and will listen to what you tell them.
White AMA drones are good mechanics, but in general don’t know sh*t about why disease occurs, much less about how to cure it.
In all my years in NYC and NJ, I’ve never run into a black doctor! Indian doctors, yes, who can be very good, but an African-American? Never. May just be the luck of the draw.
LOL!
What she wants is a Dr that is actually qualified and didnt get his MD by affirmative action.
I’m basically Archie Bunker but I’ve only needed surgery once in my life. My grandfather died of the same condition on the operating table so when I was diagnosed, I honestly put my affairs in order. I went online to find a surgeon who had performed that particular operation the most times and had the most success. I found her, a 60 year old lady who performed 3-4 of these operations a day. She wrote books on the subject and kept up with the latest tech. She happened to be black. The operation took about a half hour, and she told me I now have a .25% chance it will reoccur. A quarter of one percent. She was old-school black, not like the black lives matter idiots of today. I’m sure her IQ probably doubled mine. A weird thing about her was that she was always dressed like she was going to the opera. The operation cost me $40,000 and it was well spent. True story. I could give a sh&$ what someone looks like or where they’re from, but I do want the best. If the best is black the. there you go. If the best is white then so be it.
Can Trump Grant her political asylum?
“Old school black” translates to “not an affirmative action hire”.
The bone of contention is not skin hue, it is competence.
There are simply too many incompetent nonwhite doctors.
That said, the guy who operated on my discs was named Dr. Uday Doctor.
Yes: Dr. Doctor.
He did not suck.
“Are we supposed to get upset about this or something”
I’m pretty disgusted with this person myself. White skin =/= component doctor by default.
No way would I want to see a Muslim. It may not be politically correct, butshe might be smart demanding that.
