Two weeks after Donald J. Trump clinched the Republican presidential nomination last year, his eldest son arranged a meeting at Trump Tower in Manhattan with a Russian lawyer who has connections to the Kremlin, according to confidential government records described to The New York Times.
The previously undisclosed meeting was also attended by Mr. Trump’s campaign chairman at the time, Paul J. Manafort, as well as the president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, according to interviews and the documents, which were outlined by people familiar with them.
While President Trump has been dogged by revelations of undisclosed meetings between his associates and Russians, this episode at Trump Tower on June 9, 2016, is the first confirmed private meeting between a Russian national and members of Mr. Trump’s inner circle during the campaign. It is also the first time that his son Donald J. Trump Jr. is known to have been involved in such a meeting.
Representatives of Donald J. Trump Jr. and Mr. Kushner confirmed the meeting after The Times approached them with information about it. In a statement, Donald Jr described the meeting as primarily about an adoption program. The statement did not address whether the presidential campaign was discussed.

There were 2 different Wikileaks which exposed the DNC as a criminal operation.
1) DNC leaks which most evidence points to as an inside job. That a Bernie supporter leaked the docs showing that HC campaign colluded with DWS and D Braziille to take down BS. DWS had to resign right before the convention because of her corruption to ensure HC won the primary. Everyone agrees, these leaked emails hurt HC because it exposed the criminality of HC and DWS and DB, et al. Why are they crying over truthful emails? They do not deny that the DNC emails are false. It's because they are true that voters started to get more and more turned off by HRC. And again, it was an inside job. Per Wikileaks. Who exposed the DNC emails.
2) Pedesta email Leaks had a gmail and he clicked on a phishing link. Whoever did this know there was a huge profit to be made on exposing Pedestal colluding with CNN, MSNBC, et al. Not sure who sent Pedestal the phasing link, BUT IT WAS NOT TRUMP or his team.
So, what again is the accusation? The accusation is because DNC and Pedestal emails were leaked, and even though they were true and showed HC in a horrible light, none the less, somehow Trump worked with the Russians to cause both sets of emails to be leaked before the General election. Only that DID NOT HAPPEN.
So now they are attempting to say normal meetings with the Rep Nominee and President Elect with RUSSIA tie him to the leaks.
The LYING liberal LEFT needs to explain what the charge is? We all agree, HC and Podestas emails hurt her. But that is not the only reason she lost. She lost because she and her team are CORRUPT.
The Left's complaint is the HC was harmed because of email leaks. That is not the only reason she lost. However, there were leaks but one was an inside job from a disgruntled Bernie DNC worker who found out the DNC was colluding with HC by giving her debate questions, etc. 2nd leak on Pedesta wasn't Trump in any way shape or form. They lost. They need to get over it because their attempt to say Trump cheated to get elected is unbelievable.
Did they eat Russian dressing on their salad? This is serious stuff. I heard from anonymous sources that Donald J. Trump knows a guy whos great uncle is related to the cousin of a friend of a guy who lives in Moscow. WE HAVE TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS NOW!!!
