Correction on the timeline:
Podesta’s emails were hacked March, 2016, but this meeting was June 6 2017.
DNC leaked emails were an inside job. Not sure who, but Assange has pretty much said the DNC hacks were an inside job, while protecting his sources.
So what exactly is the charge against Trumps team with the June 6th 2016 meeting? The lefts who complaint is that somehow someone in Trumps team colluded with Russia to expose the DNC and Pedesta emails.

The meeting was recently disclosed to congressional investigators by one of the attendees, according to sources directly familiar with the disclosure.President Trump was not aware of the meeting and did not attend it, according to the lawyers.
Seems a more likely source of leak here is either a meeting participant, participant's lawyer, or somebody on the Congressional Committee.
