Attorney Chris Gowen is serving as the lawyer for Imran Awan...
After Awans arrest, Gowen immediately jumped into the fray...
Gowens past includes several stints in the Clinton machines orbit. He began his legal life as a public defender but left that job for the Bill Clinton White House. At the time, he also worked for then-Senator Hillary Clinton. Years later, he jumped on board Hillary Clintons 2008 presidential campaign, directing advance operations there, according to his biography from his law firm, Gowen Rhoades Winograd & Silva, PLLC. In another bio page, Gowen states he has consulted with former Democratic presidential contenders John Kerry and John Edwards.
Another biography, from American University, says Gowen worked with several controversial Clinton projects, including The Clinton Global Initiative, The Clinton Foundation, and The Clinton Health Access Initiative.
In 2012, Gowen went to bat for Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, whose family is deeply connected to the Muslim Brotherhood. After GOP reps explored Abedins nefarious ties, Gowen pledged to stand with Huma.
Gowens Clinton connections are intriguing on another level, given that Awans employer in the House, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, remains a close Clinton confidant.
It remains unclear at this time how Imran Awan managed to link up with Gowen and retain his services.

The whole Seth Rich-Pakistan IT staff smells of Clinton, illegal selling of national security secrets, corruption and blackmail.
We have seen so much bull sh!t in recent years. I wonder what the chances are, that every single, solitary one of these scum bags walks?
When you must lawyer-up, don’t go to your own Rolodex, go to the Rolodex of the most powerful person you know.

I would ask who pays this lawyer’s fee. I’ll bet it’s Debbie.....not the DNC.
Wondering what George Washington would think if he looked into the workings of an American Public Defender’s Office?
Depends on whether Mr. Sessions is asleep or not.
Maybe he will recuse himself again.
With Mrs. Schultz’s brother prosecuting, charges will be dismissed because the Mohammedans had no intent.
And the Fake Congress wonders why we hate them.
Mob Attorney!
Follow the $$$$$$$
Let’s see...
Employee steals from employer.
Employer hired top attorney to represent employee..
What is wrong with this picture?
This really smells of a cover up. Awan is free on bail and his life is on the fast track to join Seth Rich....
Per Zerohedge:
Chris Gowen, a founding partner at Gowen, Rhoades, Winograd and Silva, apparently did a little bit of everything for the Clintons over the course of multiple years including working in the Clinton White House, helping President Bill Clinton write his book, “My Life”, and serving on Hillary’s 2008 presidential campaign. Per Gowen’s bio:
Mr. Gowen left the Public Defenders office to work for former President William Jefferson Clinton and then-Senator Hillary Clinton. Chris was a fact checker for President Clintons memoir, My Life. He also served as a traveling aid for President Clintons national and international trips. Chris finished his tenure with the Clintons by directing the advance operations for then-Senator Hillary Clinton during her 2008 presidential campaign.
Another biography, published on the American University website, says Gowen worked with several other controversial Clinton projects, including The Clinton Global Initiative, The Clinton Foundation, and The Clinton Health Access Initiative.
Shortly after Awans arrest, Gowen immediately jumped into the fray and hit the ground running with allegations that Awan was a victim of Islamophobia. He labeled Awans arrest as part of a right-wing media-driven prosecution by a United States Attorneys Office that wants to prosecute people for working while Muslim”...it’s almost as if the words are coming straight from Hillary’s mouth.
Meanwhile, some congressional technology aides have alleged that the Awans were blackmailing representatives based on the contents of their emails and files, due to the fact that these representatives have displayed unwavering and intense loyalty towards the former aides.
Of course, one of the most intriguing parts of the Awan narrative is precisely why former DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (DWS) decided to keep him on her taxpayer-funded payroll right up until his arrest yesterday and whether that decision had anything to do with the whole DNC / Hillary email scandals that erupted last summer.
With a passion.
“Arrested Dem IT staffer’s attorney is MAJOR Clinton ally”.........
Why should that be a surprise to anyone? Remember, they are called “rats” for a reason. Words cannot express how I despise all of them.
As I said in post 15, with a passion.
Non so blind as those that wont see.
The more you examine the Paki/infiltration, the more you sense that D/W/S did not act alone on this.......but that fact does not exonerate her treasonous activity. This gal is super-ambitious. D/W/S actually has a spreadsheet of "people who owe her"....people she did favors for.
D/W/S was especially keen on getting into the good graces of the half-caste Royal Idiot b/c it suited her crass self-serving ambitions.
Most revaling...... on the surface it seemed like the half/caste kept shrugging her off.....as she pursued him w/ a vengeance. Distilling the info, one concludes, D/W/S was a willing "doer of tasks," but the Royal Idiot had to give the appearance that they were not connected.
The Pakis could not have (A) gotten security clearance, (B) gargantuan salaries, and, (C) visas (said to be WH visas) while under criminal investigation. They had to have some pretty high-level help. There are very high level people involved in this.
The grotesque salaries are another red flag.....could be the way D/W/S and Hill Democrats got paid off for their silence........via campaign contributions, kickbacks, wire-transfers, and the like.
Well, who figured he’d hire a Republican lawyer?
