Looking for anyone to view the tape of Trey Gowdy questioning Jeh Johnson (DHS). Many on the internet are suggesting that is Imran Awan sitting directly behind Trey Gowdy

Admittedly, I have been casually following George Webb and his investigative reporting about the rat lines etc. I followed during the time George Webb was trying to get anyone in the congressional office to listen. I would be hard pressed to believe Trey Gowdy would let Imran come within 20 feet of him without having him arrested.
Asking if anyone here can confirm who the person is sitting behind Trey Gowdy on this tape?

When this YouTube is played and the camera pulls back to show the entire commission....there is no one sitting behind Gowdy,at least as I could determine.

Usually, its their staff sitting behind the Congressman, those who worked on the hearing's issues...... there to clarify points or to go get material left behind.
The guy behind Gowdy looks like a foreigner......a bearded Muslim.

I looked at Inside Gov.com:
Found 18 names, of which 3 were males. Looked each one up through google for their pics. None listed looked the the person sitting behind Trey during that particular hearing.

Saw ony two male names on the second list. Googled their pics. Nothing. Liz, I agree with you, I would expect a staff member, however . . . it appears not to be??

At 1:15, the wide shot, the man in back of Gowdy is different and there is a flag in back of him. There is no flag visible in the close up.

Yes, its the angle. Look again to the far right side of the frame from Gowdy. (Gowdy's left side). You will see the edges of an arm. To me . . . same skin tone and suit sleeve.
No one is disputing that the man was sitting behind Gowdy. The question is . . . who is he?
