I’m not anti-tat, but don’t have any myself. My Dad just about MURDERED us when Sis and I pierced our own ears the year I was a Junior and she a Freshman. If I had gotten a tattoo, I’d STILL be grounded, LOL!
Just a few tattoo-related episodes:
Best Girlfriend - had to have her Wedding Dress lace re-work to HIDE her top-of-the-breast tattoo. And this was 30+ years ago! Her mother REFUSED to let her walk down the aisle, ‘looking like THAT!’ (They’re still married; he’s very tattooed!)
When we were dating, my Ex had a heart and banner tattooed on his upper arm that said, ‘True Love.’ (This was the Navy SEAL guy.) After we got married, he added a banner above that read, ‘My’ and below that read, ‘Diana.’ So, it was, ‘My True Love Diana.’ We divorced 10 years later. Guess I wasn’t his ‘True Love’ after all? ;) When he remarried, his new wife made him have the ‘my’ and the ‘Diana’ blacked out. I STILL chuckle about that all these many, MANY years later. ;)
Yes, I’m mean and vindictive that way. And I hope it hurt!
Both of them have had all sorts of tattoos of one another added to their bodies.
So weird.
“Tattoo” - The Who
Me and my brother were talking to each other
‘Bout what makes a man a man
Was it brain or brawn, or the month you were born
We just couldn’t understand
Our old man didn’t like our appearance
He said that only women wear long hair
So me and my brother borrowed money from Mother
We knew what we had to do
We went downstairs, past the barber and gymnasium
And got our arms tattooed
Welcome to my life, tattoo
I’m a man now, thanks to you
I expect I’ll regret you
But the skin graft man won’t get you
You’l be there when I die
Tattoo
My dad beat me ‘cause mine said “Mother”
But my mother naturally liked it and beat my brother
‘Cause his tattoo was of a lady in the nude
And my mother thought that was extremely rude
Welcome to my life, tattoo
We’ve a long time together, me and you
I expect I’ll regret you
But the skin graft man won’t get you
You’ll be there when I die
Tattoo
Now I’m older, I’m tattooed all over
My wife is tattooed too
A rooty-toot-toot, rooty-tooty-toot-toot
Rooty-toot-toot tattoo too
To you
The first thing a relative did when he graduated from HS was to get a Mickey Mouse tattoo in his private area. That was at the beginning of this craze. I don’t dare ask him if he still has it now that he’s in his 40s. What was he thinking? Mickey’s male part microscopic if at all.
I knew a mom who took her twin daughters for matching tats and nipple rings for their HS graduation. Talk about white trash.
I just don’t understand. People buy new clothes and change their hair style constantly but they want to be stuck with tattoo forever. It’s hilarious when they put their inevitably soon to be ex’s name on themselves.
I hate tattoos. I really hate black tattoos on White women. It just makes their arms, etc., look dirty. My mid-30’s hair stylist has 3 small tattoos. She said they were the result of two things, drinking too much in Vegas and peer pressure. She said she wishes she didn’t have them......and she’s only mid-30’s. They aren’t even noticeable, but she says she would have them removed, if it were cheaper to do so.
“Here’s your sign.”
Tattoo parlors serve an invaluable public service. They indelibly mark the idiots so that the rest of us might recognize them on sight. Saves us having to waste time waiting for them to reveal their true character (or lack thereof).
To which I respond: If I want to know that much about you, I'll buy your autobiography. I don't want to see the cartoon version.
We were so disappointed to see a particular woman on Jeopardy a few weeks ago. She had a nose ring. We were glad she didn’t win, as we weren’t looking forward to seeing her the next night.
There was a comedian whose name I forget who had the line, “I like dating women with tattoos, because I see them and think, “No there’s a girl who is willing to make a mistake.”
Welcome to The Red Pill and MGTOW.
Yup, sign of mental illness too.
Yep, I immediately know who not to hire during a job interview.
And then there’s the subject of Graffiti, and how now it’s everywhere.
It was very disappointing on my recent trip to Europe to see it EVERYWHERE.
Taggers should be shot.
I think having tattoos is a lower class look. And, what’s wrong with the way G-d made you? You think you have to mask it?
The malcontents to a great job of warning everybody in a number of ways. I don’t need to explain them here.
All those monster tats that young dudes and chicks get today are going to look like crap in their 60's.......
