IMO, our next move is to take down any launches from NK while in the early boost phase.
We have assets in place to do this... missiles are extremely vulnerable in early boost...they are slow moving, thin skinned objects full of volatile chemical propellants and they are in the clear. Perfect targets.
We have mid-course systems anti-missile systems (THAAD, AEGIS) and point-defense systems (Patriot). I’m not aware of any boost-phase systems other than the airborne laser, and that is sitting at the boneyard at Davis-Mothan courtesy of Barak Obama.
