A war with North Korea would be hell -- And the aftermath even worse -Huh?
Fox News ^ | 8/10/2017 | Harry J. Kazianis

If we expand this out a little more, what if North Korea—in a future scenario where President Trump begins a massive buildup like the First or Second Gulf Wars—decides to strike first and launch not only attacks on Seoul, but deploy the full weight of his conventional military forces in an all-out assault against the South?

This does not make sense - it sounds like he thinks trump might attack South Korea

The media is just hyperventilating over that Trump might just pop that putrid little pimple who runs NK. I’m sick of him.

I guess the — is supposed to be read as commas.

The thing to me is what do you expect Trump to do?

Suck on his thumb like Obama?
Pay a ransom of a crate of Swiss Francs?
or shove a tomahawk missile down Kim’s throat?

Read it again. He’s talking about Lil Kim launching a preemptive invasion of the South in response to a US buildup in the south.

When do we get our civilian defense instructions? I’ve already blacked out my headlights. I make sure no light can sneak out of my house blinds at night. I’ve begun to plant my victory garden. But when do the air raid drills start? When do we get told which air raid shelter to go to? Do we shelter in place? Do we stick our heads under a desk? What are we allowed to bring to the air raid shelter and where is it? Does three soundings of the air raid siren mean “nuclear”. I forget. Who is the civilian defense czar? Who is running things around here?

I’m guessing that this will end without serious fighting.

But if there is serious fighting, I expect that war to be very short. Not necessarily because of nukes. But because NK is a paper tiger.

“I expect that war to be very short.”

Yep. Seems very simple to me:

Nuke NK into submission then hand it over to SK to handle the cleanup.

The only question is what China will do. Probably nothing.

An Airforce of Biplanes and a navy of mini subs don’t sound like an equal match.

However if the NK Nuke arsenal gets significant, they could start black mailing countries.

“If you don’t give us heaps of money we will nuke you”

First, Kim could launch the full weight of his 1.1-million-man army, 4,300 tanks and countless artillery and rocket batteries to attack the South.

Okay so Kims has some impressive numbers.

What these numbers do not tell you is; how many tanks are operational at any given time. Tanks require maintenance and spare parts to maintain them at combat readiness.

How many of the 1.1 million man army are actually armed? How many rounds does each man have for his rifle or other arm?

North Korea is a tragically poor country. I suspect that their army is a hollow shell.

People seem to forget that the ROK Army and US forces both have plenty of artillery to attack North Korean batteries with. It won’t just be NK firing on an unarmed city. Also, US and ROK air power is significantly stronger and more modern than North Korea’s.

The article ends:

Therefore, all sides, especially the brutal regime of Kim Jong Un, should think twice about proceeding down the path towards conflict. Because in a Second Korean War, no one wins.

Wrong. In a Second Korean War -- if necessary -- the U.S. wins hands down. South Korea will be heavily hit, Japan less so. But North Korea ceases to exist as a country and the people of North Korea will get a taste of freedom. South Korea will rebuild North Korea in a historical blink of an eye with 3D house printers and other modern technology.

Russia and North Korea declare 2015 a ‘year of friendship’

“The biggest cause for concern is the growing military alliance between Russia and North Korea, with the two regimes recently announcing plans to conduct a series of joint army, navy and air force exercises this year.”

The drama queens are at it at Fox.

I don’t think Kim is that stupid. Send him a trailer load of Johnny Walker and tell him to sit down and STFU.

Threatening to fire nuclear missiles at a US Territory is a good way to get your ass kicked. The little fat guy cannot be that stupid.
