George Washington was a slave-owner. It is clear from that fact alone, in the interest of peace and harmony, decency and fairness, sensibility and sanity, and in an effort to avoid any insensitivity toward all of our peoples, especially the indigenous and the non-citizen immigrant, let alone long-suffering great-great-great-great-great grandchildren of former slaves, that the capital city of our fair land must be re-named. Some of the leading candidates are listed below. Please feel free to add your own:
Che' Guevara City
Orwell D.C.
Swamp City
Momument Free City

Good point. But then, they have indigenous peoples out there. Alaska renamed Mt. McKinley, named for an assassinated president, to Mt. Denali, you know. So Washington State shouldn’t have a problem doing something similar. However, as long as we’re on the west coast, beware the coming de-Christianization that is to follow. No more San Francisco, San Diego, San Anything.
No Washington, DC must be removed and placed in a warehouse!

So here goes: (I love taking dumb ideas and following them to their logical conclusion)
We obviously can't name it after a person, since only God is perfect. Naming a city or anything after God would offend a lot of people. While we're at it, maybe anything with "Christian" in its name should be changed.
So I looked up what "Potomac" means. The word Potomac is unacceptable, because it's an English spelling of an Algonquin word. It would be inappropriate and offensive to use a spelling from the oppressors. Patawomeke is a more culturally sensitive spelling for the word.
Patawomeke has three possible meanings:
1. River of Swans
2. Place where people trade
3. The place to which tribute is brought
Problem solved. Patawomeke is the perfect name for Washington DC. If three definitions is too confusing, an alternative would be to name it "Place to which tribute is brought"

also, better rename the state of Washington, I suggest Gatesylvania.
Drop the good name of George Washington and rename it the District of Criminals or D.C. for short.

Don’t forget what DC stands for: District of Columbia.
Columbia is based on Columbus, so would have to go too.
Most folks outside the region refer to the nation’s capital as “Washington”. Most living around there refer to it as “DC”.
But the one’s w/attitude, for the same reason as this post, refer to it as “The District”.
Hell,so each rep can say they want to go to hell.
On further reflection some of us have begun to realize that the left wants to abolish all names since they are reminders of a Christian or racist past.
They want everyone and every place to be a number.
Our nation’s capital new name would be a way to honor a future where the leftist tyrants monitor everyone...
