Is this a possible "solution" to the Kim Jong Un problem. The volcano in question has the potential to have a massive super volcano eruption. The Chinese are rightfully concerned.

Fat Boy could have a very bad day.

I still rather doubt that the eruption happens very soon.

If we have a rods from God capability, I’d like to see one or two go straight into the caldera.

Jill Stein wants to ban fracking and supports North Korea’s nuclear bomb program.

Such is liberalism

Misdirection.

China is the one who benefits from Kim Jong Whatever screwing around.

North Korea is the puppet.

China is the puppet master.

A volcanic eruption large enough to destabilize and topple the Kim regime would be a gift from God.

If it blows and takes out NK, Trump and the US will be blamed regardless.

> The Chinese are rightfully concerned. <

The Chinese have not reined Kim in because he is a real thorn in the side of the United States. The Chinese leadership would do well to consider the Law of Unintended Consequences.

The Mountain volcano is considered 'sacred' by the predominantly Korean population living near the volcano.....and N. Korea appropriates the mountain's mythology in its propaganda and uses it like a brand-name.

The peak is featured 'on the Emblem of North Korea', defined in Article 169 of the Constitution, which describes Mt Paektu as... "the sacred mountain of the revolution"..... The mountain is often referred to in slogans such as:..... "Let us accomplish the Korean revolution in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu!"....... North Korean media even celebrates portentous natural phenomenon witnessed at the mountain.

My theory on why the Chinese haven’t pressured DPRK to stop the missiles: they want to see whether the U.S. anti-missile missiles can really shoot down offensive missiles in flight and they want to see us use them to gather what intelligence they can.

Let me say now I don’t know
I don’t know
I don’t know where I’m a gonna go
When the volcano blow

Ground she’s movin’ under me
Tidal waves out on the sea
Sulfur smoke up in the sky
Pretty soon we learn to fly

Let me hear ya now I don’t know
I don’t know
I don’t know where I’m a gonna go
When the volcano blow

Now my girl quickly say to me
Mon you better watch your feet
Lava come down soft and hot
You better lava me now or lava me not

Let me say now I don’t know
I don’t know
I don’t know where I’m a gonna go
When the volcano blow

No time to count what I’m worth
‘Cause I just left the planet earth
Where I go I hope there’s rum
Not to worry soon come

Wars are usually started over natural resources or boundaries. This would be the first war over a country causing a volcano.
