BTW I live in Spain and dogs are allowed at the outside eating areas but not inside the restaurant. Just about every restaurant in my town has an outside area so we see a lot of dogs. Most of the dogs are fine but I had to chew a guy out and report him to the manager one time for letting his dog lick food off of his plate.

My uncle, who was paralyzed, but he didn’t have a card in his car or handicapped plates because he was somewhat proud of his self sufficiency and didn’t want what was at the time a newfangled handicapped label. Never needed them - he mowed his own lawn- in circles and arcs instead of in strips; he painted his own ceilings using a brush or roller taped to long poles; he had his car rigged so he could shift from the steering column instead of needing a foot pedal clutch; he parked like everyone else in a regular parking spot, got his chair out and got in it and went about his business as if he had good legs.
But one time he was feeling ill and the lot to the place he wanted to visit was full, except for a couple of handicapped slots. So he thought he’d try to save time and use one of the handicapped spots instead of waiting for a regular space to open up.
He comes rolling out of the place later and there’s a ticket on his windshield.
He went to court in the wheelchair over it and the judge still forced him to pay the ticket.

Lap dogs have existed as far back as antiquity and in highly cultured civilizations.

That's why I have as little respect for judges as I do.They get to choose when they'll enforce the *letter* of the law and when they'll enforce what they, personally, believe the law should say.

This person didn’t endear herself to anyone.

I doubt if she was trying to, what she did was to make an ass of herself which is what people will do sometimes if they say whats on their mind.

And she evidently did not believe the man needed a dog in the restaurant.

I saw a guy come into a restaurant so fast one time that his dog could hardly keep up with him, when called on it he told them in a not so friendly way that it was a service dog.

The only thing that appeared wrong with him is that he was an arrogant sob.

Some people will take advantage of anything they can get whether they really need it or not, and that includes some vets.

I will give the Vet the benefit of the doubt until i know better but knowing how B.S stories gets printed we probably will never know the other side of the story.

Yes, i have seen women kissing their lap dogs and have saw the same little dogs in the middle of a pile of cow manure eating to its hearts content.

Really high culture.

But, i guess if it tastes good who am i to judge.

Sigh, we live in Orlando, home of gay days. Wow, brings to mind yet another night-out story...

Mrs. Subterfuge and I went to a very expensive restaurant on the top floor of a large hotel on Disney property. This was probably 12 years ago and it was then we realized our wedding anniversary fell on the week of gay days at Disney, which has become a huge event. There must have been 500 gays in the lobby of the hotel and at least a fourth of them were shirtless. It was chaos.

It took 20minutes to get on an elevator and I was pressed with my back to the elevator wall and the Mrs in front of me. The restaurant was fine, though. No chaos.

I agree with you. People are trying to make dogs and cats on equal footing as people, it’s weird.

This woman is far below any cat or dog I’ve ever known.

There is a cop and a judge who should be slapped silly.

Having a son with PTSD, I can say that her actions certainly hurt that veteran. He fought for her and she spit on his service and likely gave him a set back in handling his PTSD.

FR seems to be changing. We have a lot of woman haters here these days and now we have dog haters.

Weird.

There are also service dogs who detect “symptom less hypoglycemia”. Look it up. Without the dog notifying the owner the blood sugar can drop to critical levels. And if a service dog helps a vet cope what is your problem with it? Apparently you have no one near and dear with severe PTSD.

I don`t like to eat with the dogs but in a case like that i would rather.

I sure feel critical today for some reason, maybe its because l hate to have to choose between two things that are so disgusting.

They’re starting to use miniature horses for the blind.

They live longer, have much better vision, are great for physical support and tend to excel at the job.

Instead of a new dog every 7 or 8 years, you get one horse for 30+.

Financially speaking, it’s a better deal.

*srug*

I like dogs i just don`t care to make love to them, besides the Bible tells us that it is an abomination.
