Pacino has great range. My favorite Pacino performance is “Glengarry, Glen Ross”.
You may be right. That’s the only movie in the past 3 decades he didn’t devour the scenery screaming his Pacino heart out. Of course, EVERYBODY was excellent in GGR because of the material. Too bad they couldn’t create an Oscar ensemble category, and even Baldwin deserved a supporting actor nod for it. It’s a shame he’ll never be that good again.
One film of Pacino’s, now almost forgotten, was “Bobby Deerfield.” I thought he turned in a decent, understated performance in that one.
