Though the footage has been determined to be from 2015, authorities deemed the threat credible - particularly in the wake of the Manchester Arena massacre, and as the then coming Memorial Day holiday weekend which was expected to bring big crowds to The Strip.

‘I think anytime somebody goes on the internet and makes a threat that they’re going to conduct a lone-wolf or any type of attack, it’s our responsibility to view it as a credible threat,’ Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Capt. Given his height its not much of a matter of how far the bullet needs to travel when it can also fall 32 floors. So all he has to do is shoot straight over the concert parallel to the ground and he will likely hit people as the bullet falls. If he wants to make sure he hits people, he just has to start by aiming at the furthest person and walk it up from there. He is sure to hit someone without worrying too much about the calculation of vectors and gravity.
