Cracker barrel has a racist name, but I eat there. I bring my dog, Wulf, which I have trained to attack anyone who calls me a Cracker.
You (and everyone else) are entitled to your opinion. In a little over two hours I'll be on the high school court warming up for an adult rec b'ball session. Hopefully those 40 and 50 year old kids won't beat up on me too badly! It will be a heckuva good workout.
Why just Cracker Barrel? I have an ex girlfriend who wouldn’t go to Souplantation because it had “plantation” in the name. Yeah, she got nutty and fell for all the college taught Cultural Marxism crap.
It's not wholly serious either.
Some trolls like to ride the line between serious and humorous, so they get twice as many responses and can always say it was in fun if people are offended.
It looks like a lot of the responses are just social snobbery from people who don't think they're even a tiny bit racist themselves.
But painting with a broad brush and riding the line between humor and insult are common enough nowadays in people of different political beliefs and none.

True story. We had a backwoods (serious swamp person) Cajun in our basic training unit. Out of a company of 140 people, I was one of 3 who could understand him well enough to translate for the cadre.
Sorry, I don’t see the humor. It’s about as funny as a root canal without anaesthetic.

Most people think they have a sense of humor, but it’s not actually true. I’m sometimes too quick to find humor in tragedy.
