“If it does I predict that North Korea will never know the outcome of it”.

That’s a very good way to put it.

That’s why it’s so clean. I have a half hour video of someone driving through Pyongyang and it’s really is a beautiful clean city albeit ghost like.

Basically Kim is just posturing (IMHO) to keep him and his country on a world stage, otherwise NK would be off in the wilderness and nobody would be really concerned about it.

Let’s take the NK dictator at his word, and ask, the world, if such a threat to NK from the U.S. exists, then why - what are the conditions that cause it to exist, and what would in fact set if off.

We can sum all the many details up in few general points.

There is no peace agreement from the Korean War, just an armistice (agreed on temporary halt in fighting) so a state of war officially still exists, between North Korea and South Korea & the United Nations Unified Command operating under the operational control of the United States. The signers of the armistice were the China-North Korea Command and the United Nations Command.

The North Korean response since the signing of the armistice has been continued belligerence and continued acts of aggression by North Korea against the nation of South Korea, South Korean leaders and South Korea individuals, on Korean soil and inside other nations, as well as against U.S. military units & persons and U.S. civilians, and against Japanese citizens on Japanese soil (abductions of Japanese civilians, taken to North Korea).

Instead of moving to, preparing for and negotiating for peace, North Korea has continually threatened war and prepared for war, while attempting nuclear geopolitical blackmail to try to obtain concessions from South Korea and the U.S.

If there is any U.S. threat towards North Korea it is a responsible response to the posture of North Korea and its continued belligerent history since signing the armistice.

What North Korea wants is it does not want the U.S. to be helping to protect South Korea. That is not going to happen. If that is what constitutes the threat to North Korea, it is a condition it has created.

Exactly. NK has no intention of attacking SK. They have had 70 years to do so. Either they are the laziest villains in history, or they have never really been serious about taking on American and SK militarily. But, that doesn’t answer the question: people seem to think that NK was threatening nuclear war. Yet, they clearly weren’t, but rather using the “threat” from the US as justification for not signing the nuclear proliferation treaty. What exactly should Trump’s reaction to that be, that will make NK regret their decision?

Trump needs to nuke North Korea and Iran. And he should not bother to ask permission from the Congress. Tell them after it’s over.

It’s a showroom. It’s like Alexanderplatz in Berlin before the wall came down.
