Molly Ringwald at 13? She was on Facts of Life. That was a spin-off of Diff’rent Strokes, co-starring Todd Bridges, who was also molested.

Do you mean Dana Plato?... Ahh, I have fond adolescent memories of her... I don't recall Molly Ringwald in Facts of Life. That of course only means that I don't recall it; which isn't saying a lot.

Liberals after all have led the full court press on American traditions, morals, ethics, and on ‘propriety’ for DECADES.

BTW-If any ‘actress’ is complaining, if an ‘actress’ is talented then what in the world did she need Harvey for? Why attend HIS parties, go where HE was, appear in ANY venue where he would be?
I mean-It’s hard to imagine that you couldn't get out a situation so obviously dangerous to you... if EVERYONE says his conduct was a well know fact... why involve yourself with that individual or get anywhere NEAR where could take advantage?
All of this is just the tip of the iceberg.
No, I mean Facts of Life. Dana Plato was used to spin off Facts of Life (And the spin-off helped write her off of Diff’rent Strokes), but Molly Ringwald was the one who was actually a regular of Season 1 of Facts of Life.

Does this all mean that we have finally found something that offends progressives - not just conservatives?
It pretty ironic that they have always gone all out to defend the gay community = EQUAL RIGHTS blah blah - but the majority of gays there have stayed in the closet. Why? Shame? HA!
While in theory I support a better checks & balances system within Hollywood, it will be very difficult to enforce, as there will still be plenty of women (& some men) willing to do anything to get in the pictures.
A checks & balances system, like Affirmative Action, might create other problems. As Woody Allen said, a witch hunt could result with men getting sued just for winking. Also, a director who may dislike an actress for legitimate reasons and refuse to work with her might be labeled sexist.
And who wants to work with an actress who has a chip on her shoulder? A hostile environment dampens creativity and spontaneity, ruining Hollywood culture. Men might leave in droves (straight men, anyway).
Hate to say, but this whole Weinstein thing is opening up a can of worms.
