I can see how that is an awkward and potentially risky position for him to be put in these days because he could be accused of who knows what depending on whether he looked or did not look, what way he acted or moved. It might have felt like a set-up to him where he would be automatically wrong and perhaps even criminal. Remember that we live in a very upside-down reverse universe these days.

A complaint of convenience to hopefully acquire large sums of money in the new found marketplace of accusing the powerful with alleged sexual harassment and/or assault. It will quickly become a cottage industry that ensnares many more before it fades into the background from over usage.

The sad part is those who truly are victims will not be believed, or will be ignored, as time & accusations march on to the saturation point.

That is how the life cycle works. After awhile people become desensitized to the accusations, and quite frankly get tired of hearing about them. Much like calling us racists has lost a significant portion of the power it used to wield.
