During his lecture at the hermitage, Longhi recounted a conversation he had with the John Paul II in March 1993, in which the pope warned him about a disturbing vision he had about the future of Europe.
"The Pope told me: 'Tell this to those whom you will meet in the Church of the third millennium. I see the Church afflicted by a mortal wound. More profound, more painful than those of this millennium,' referring to Communism and Nazi totalitarianism. 'It is called Islamism. They will invade Europe. I have seen the hordes come from the West to the East,' and then told to me each country one by one: from Morocco to Libya to Egypt, and so on till the East," Longhi recalled, as reported by The Catholic Herald.
"The Holy Father added: 'They will invade Europe, Europe will be like a basement, old relics, shadows, cobwebs. Family heirlooms. You, the Church of the third millennium, must contain the invasion. Not with armies, armies will not be enough, but with your faith, lived with integrity," the priest added.

Sorry to say, he was correct.
At night, the pope could be found kneeling before the Tabernacle in the chapel of the house and he heard conversing with God or the Virgin Mary, according to the Longhi.
The former pope’s visions apparently began during his first Mass on Nov. 2, 1946 in the crypt of St. Leonard in Wawel Cathedral in Krakow, Poland.

Faith this strong is extremely rare. Expectation of being a martyr is more understandable than “Faith” that will change Islam. I pray he is correct.
John Paul II also believed mightily in Poland’s role in saving Europe, Western Civilization and Christendom in general. At the time I read the book, The Keys of this Blood, I assumed he was referring to an East-West struggle between the United States and the Soviet Union. In light of recent events I’m convinced he was referring to an Islamic invasion.

I other words, worship Him as He has told you to. And trust in Him to be the One who will crush islam. For we are powerless before the Almighty.

I have no doubt that we are in the transition times. There are many scholars on FR that know far more about this than me.
I too have had many visions ever since my NDE in 1988. However, the time distortion between the level of the visions and here on earth is very great. They appear as current events in the visions.
I was also shown the weeds referred to in Matthew 13, and have met several of them in recent years. They are the true puppeteers behind all the turmoil.
Unlike human souls that have both masculine and feminine aspects which can combine with Love to grow spiritually to become whole, the weeds have only masculine aspect of consciousness. They are super intelligent, but lack empathy and compassion.
Thus, just as Paul described that husband and wife become “one” in the eyes of God, the weeds are creating all this economic, military and political turmoil to cause humans to become emotional and irrational in order that they may attach as the logical aspect. This is the weeds hiding in the wheat field.
It will not work as God is in total control, even using satan for divine purpose. The tribulation is actually a good thing when viewed from a higher level of understanding as it is essentially plowing the field so that the souls may sprout. We truly are in the springtime of soul growth.

Funny coincidence, I am headed to Poland for a few weeks in the spring of 2018. I plan on visiting the crypt of St. Leonard in Wawel Cathedral in Krakow where the Pope’s visions began.

I visited Pope John Paul’s tomb in St. Peter’s Basilica shortly after he passed. It was one of the most moving experiences of my life. His soul radiated Love.
Of all the religions in the world, Europe has been predominantly Catholic for a couple of hundred years.
