An animal cruelty investigation is underway Saturday after a 16-year-old boy was seen on video throwing a cat onto the street, according to Ontario police.
The video in question was apparently posted on Snapchat.
Ontario police launched an investigation into the incident that eventually led them to identify a teen boy believed to be responsible for the abuse of the kitten, authorities said. The suspect, who will not be identified due to his age, has not been located and arrested.
Investigators said they located the animal and its owner. They said the cat has a fractured leg but is expected to be OK.
The Inland Valley Human Society was assisting with the investigation and care of the injured cat.

First step of a serial killer.
I did not (could not) watch. But I wanted to make the obligatory “this little bastard will become a serial killer someday” post.
‘cause it’s probably very likely.
Ok, the second post. Less than thirty seconds! ;)
Ontario, California
I don’t like cats but certainly wouldn’t bring myself to do something like this.
Kid better get help now before it’s too late.
This is gut-wrenching video to watch/ Viewer beware.
God trusts us to take care of those that need our protection.
This young man needs serious help.
I dont need to watch it. Too much cruelty in the world as is.
I can’t watch———poor kitty.
.
Understood.
Next thing ya know he’ll be pro-abortion.
The moment I saw the headline I knew that it was going to be one of three possibilities:
1) Black.
2) Hispanic.
3) Muslim (outside chance in some ways because Muslims generally appreciate cats).
Hispanic. These things are so predictable. His info is being published on social media now. He’ll be scared for his life soon. That could be called a “teachable moment”.
Notice that the cat didn’t object to being handled when the boy was holding it. That’s one reason why I always kept an eye on my cat when I let her out. She was very friendly toward people and loved to be handled, and she would have been easy prey to some low-life like the boy in the video.
She passed away at the age of 18 on Election Day last year after living a life surrounded by folks who loved her.
Why do thing it makes them cool or tough or funny to be cruel to helpless animals.
He doesn’t need help. He needs to be . . . .
Another Jeffery Dahmer or Charles Manson in the making.
Well, I guess it's worth a try, but I'm very skeptical that therapy to correct criminal behavior does any good.
Gang inititiation.
Or santeria.
