I was in a Chinese restaurant in San Diego and ordered a fish dish. I was mortified when it arrived with the fish still gasping on my plate. It had been cooked with slits across its sides, sparing the head so it stayed alive until it reached the dinner table.

They were not "gutting" the shark. It becomes apparent immediately that these guys are being deliberately cruel in their behavior towards this live shark.
