I can’t watch programs where people are yelling at each other.
Even if I agree with them.
Isn’t that what Sunday School is for?
I don’t watch Hannity because his debate skill is awful. It seems to consist mostly of badgering his guests to get them to deny something.
Seems like a pretty feeble reason for a boycott. Don’t support Hannity - he interrupts people.
Listen to him tonight and count how many times he interrupts his guests.....
Interrupting guests? Hannity does that all the time.
That is irritating because often the guest is on a
track that interests me while Hannity diverts the
conversation to something less interesting. He likes
to hear himself talk and assumes his audience does, as
well. He has his list of talking points and is unable
to allow the guests to get into their subjects so that
he can delve deeper and counter their points of view.
That tells me that he is unprepared to argue past the
most superficial aspects of the debate. On the other
hand in his defense there is only so much time allotted
per segment. It is also true that many hosts have
similar issues.
The thing that bothers me most about Hannity is his
incessant lists he rattles off....fingernails on the
chalkboard.
Having been a resident of Minnestoopid for 10 years, don’t waste your breath. They are all programmed to repeat whatever MSNBC or KTNF (formerly Air America Radio) tells them. Worse, they could start channeling Mike Malloy and turn violent. They could even call the police and whine that they felt mortally threatened by different ideas (I have no respect for Minnesota law enforcement outside of sheriff departments of rural counties).
Get them all off the air, lets watch reruns of the Brady Bunch........

This friend likely wants to start this boycott because he is a well-known Conservative talk-show host. I doubt the friend has any problem with Liberal talk-show hosts interrupting guests.
But he does.

You don’t argue with liberals. You call them Nazis. Whatever liberals say, call them Nazis. Nazis! Nazis! Nazis! Then watch their heads explode and enjoy emotional satisfaction from that.
A vanity for Sean Hannity. No a vanity to help argue with an idiot. How about telling your idiot liberal you appear to be friends with to not bring that crap up around you.
You don’t need to disprove a liberal you need to grow up and deal with the real world. Do you watch professional wrestling also and need to prove it’s real or fake to a liberal?
Sean is an entertainer and not a truth sayer or a preacher. He isn’t worth the time to prove ( it’s called an opinion) anything or waste your time.

I really don’t have an argument against that. He does interrupt his callers, guests, etc, particularly if they are libs...but - so does nearly every other talk radio host, regardless of their politics. I think many of the replies here say the same.
I think Rush is probably the most cordial of them all.
So, she’s a liberal and she listens to Sean Hannity? Righhhht...and now she’s boycotting? I guess it’s as if she’d never listened to him at all, which she probably really hasn’t.
I’d say good riddance.
Too funny - the day Sean lets a guest finish a sentence is the day he goes mute - and then he’ll probably turn off the guest’s mic/feed....
Nothing makes for less listenable talk radio than a caller who endlessly repeats, filibusters and can’t get to the point, or does not have his facts or thoughts organized...
Most hosts seize the opportunity to keep things lively and moving, and get in the max number of callers...
Sean is not alone in interrupting or cutting off and moving things forward when he needs to...
After all, it’s his show...Callers are little more than stimulus for the host to make his own points...
Any caller who gets butthurt because he got “cut off” or interrupted needs to get over it, and next time have his talking point ducks in a row...

Plus he’s a windbag motor mouth. You can “see” it better on his radio show. Listen to it and count how many times he interrupts almost every caller and time how long he talks and how long he let’s the caller talk.
That’s one of the reasons I personally boycott him. Another reason is he repeats himself too much. I am now convinced he worked for free at a college radio station. No student gets paid at college radio stations.
And I also know the democrats say the Republicans are for dirty water.
