Red One: here's a reconstruction of my throne found within my Fortress of Solitude.
We've got the technology now. Why don't they treat the pyramids like Lego sets--take them apart, then put back together. There's no telling what would be found.

We have no way to take them apart let alone rebuild them. 100 ton stones cannot be easily lifted by modern cranes - one or two perhaps but not by the hundreds, by the thousands. Certainly, you would need to build a crane taller that the Great Pyramid before you could even think of it. Ramps will not work. And it would take decades to disassemble, even if it were possible, and more decades to reassemble.
