Bellator on Spike TV at 9 eastern. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson takes on Chael Sonnen in the first fight of Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix. Rory "The Red King" MacDonald tries to take the Welterweight Belt from Champ Douglas Lima. Former LW Champ Michael Chandler vs. submission artist Goiti Yamauchi

UFC has such a large seemingly ever changing roster, I can’t keep up.
It’s not like the old days at all. Maybe I’m getting old and just can’t remember names as well.
There are names I’ve seen before but I couldn’t tell you about the fighters. Not a great card outside the title fights.
Just watch Big John McCarthy doing post fight winner interviews on Bellator.
I wonder if he’s an announcer for them now.

Chandler won his match by decision. I thought the fight should have been stopped near the end of the third when he turned his opponents face into so much hamburger via G&P, but the ref let it go to the bell.

Rory Mac is the new welterweight champ for Bellator.
Astonishing decision win by him after his calf was utterly destroyed by Lima early on.
Rory couldn’t barely even stand, but managed to keep the fight on the ground for the remaining rounds, and held Lima down for the entire fifth while delivering punishing GnP.
Good sportsmanship after, Rory was emotional and respectful of Lima said he’s the best fighter he’s ever faced.
Congratulations, Rory!
