I brought two of my teenaged kids to the Clockwork Angels tour (2013???) or so. One “Dad” was so excited I brought my kids to a Rush concert. So sad to see them stop - but they sure went out on top. Here’s their last song from their last album. The album, song, and even the ending note tells the story that it was the end.

“The Garden”

I'm getting old. I have never heard of Geddy Lee and I'm not aware of ever listening to Rush.

Rush has been around in their current configuration since 1974, I believe. Maybe you just never listened to rock music? Rush would be pretty hard to miss, otherwise.

That's not it at all. I listened to The Allman Brothers and Leon Russell. In 1974 I got married and then enlisted in the USAF. I'm stuck in a time warp you might say.

Maybe they just weren’t your style. They started out as a Led Zeppelin-style band and turned into a progressive rock group that still had some commercial appeal. They put on an amazing show live! I’ve seen them a couple of times over the years. Personally, I prefer their late 70s to early 80s material, so you could say I’m stuck in a time warp, too.
