George Hamilton as a frightfully tanned Col Sanders was creepy.

No, No. I've lived about half my life below the Mason-Dixon line, and I've witnessed many Southern gentlemen with "good" tans. Their not "frightful;" nor "creepy." Some are distinguished, even. I've been here on FR about 20 years, this is something light, to enjoy.

Besides, seeing George Hamilton in "birth control" eyeglasses is fun in of itself!

George Hamilton wasn’t tanned. He was “extra crispy”. :-)

I saw George Hamilton in person in Denver where at the time (decades ago) I believe he was hawking fur coats at a department store. He was quite the looker. I see no mention of him selling those coats anywhere, but I do remember he had a cigar shop in the NY NY casino in Vegas as well. It’s been gone for quite some time.

Never liked the guy. He wasn’t only creepy as Col Sanders.
