Yup. And you were just as right on that other thread. As you’re no doubt aware, there are a lot of conservatives on FR who take skepticism towards politics as tantamount to religious heresy. The truth wins out in the end.
The odd thing about this is I’m very hopeful. Once you come to the conclusion that politics is a scam, a suckers game, it opens up a whole new universe of opportunity. Having chucked politics, I’m freed to work on the culture and faith and accomplishing much more there instead. Real, tangible results are out there and it’s great.
