I just got my first paycheck since the tax cut went into effect, my take home pay is increasing by $170 per month. Thank you, President Trump!

How about you all? Are you starting to get paychecks with the new tax rates?

Winning!!!!

About the same here. Couple hundred bucks more into the household every paycheck will help with the rising cost of fuel and groceries.

I gained 20 bucks.

With insurance for me going up here, that negated the little cola raise and whatever gains I could have had it seems.

In our case Fedzilla giveth and the locals taketh away. Our local taxes are going up by a double digit percentage. First few increases will go to pay that.

Sigh.

MAGA!!!

Will be hard to tell with us - MS doesn't tax retirements and we have zero coming gout of our social security and my DoD civilian retirements. My wife's MS retirement has a nominal amount coming out and I use my Military retirement as a tax balance by having extra come out of it to make up for those with no taxes coming out - that way i can modify it as a single item to try to get as close to zero owed/refunded at end of year and not worry about the others. I expect to drop about $75 from withheld taxes for that account to make up for lower taxes this year.

We’ll see tomorrow. My best guess is about $125 to $150 savings every two weeks.

Our windfall was huge. Had to do a estimate of our taxes which will be do and had to have a bit more taken out due to two earners. Regardless the tax cut is real not a sham. Also figuring taxes next year will be a snap. MAGA!!

My take home went up over $300/month. Thank you 4.10.20!!

Any leftards that still hate Trump should send their extra crumbs to the IRS.

Which is why we’ll be escaping from NYS.

I just hope there’s still somewhere to go where folks believe in living within their means.

The IRS has released updated witholding tables for 2018:

https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-notice-1036
https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/n1036.pdf

Some employers may still be using 2017 rates, but are required to use the new rates by mid-February.

I paid my quarterly estimates yesterday, since I am self employed. That’s OK, I’ll see my savings in about 13 or 14 months.
