Usually a Friday news release is a way to cover it up.

IMO, releasing the memo the day before the Super Bowl almost guaranteed that it would be a topic of conversation at SB parties.

Really? You think that bud light drinking 30 year olds scarfing down pizza and wings while watching Pepsi commercials are talking about the FISA memo? Who is this FISA person and will she be singing during the half-time show?

It was a topic of conversation at my house all weekend, but no SB party here...no football here. Friends and neighbors of different ages and all paying attention to the goings on in D.C. as much as possible.

The way the MSM reports only what they want to, and doesn’t even attempt to report facts- not sure it matters any more what day things are released. People who make a point to stay informed will find out about it, others won’t or will only get what the MSM chooses to report.
