Agree. The conspiracy angle (”He’s a Soros plant!! He’s the Manchurian Candidate!!”) stuff is just stupid and plays into the hands of the media.
Everybody had 3 or 4 kids like this guy in guy in high school: budding liberal activists with pliant parents. Add in the social media, instant-celebrity culture, the lure of fawning media coverage, and you’ve got a perfect storm of narcissism.
The adults who kowtow to this budding SJW (”we need to listen to chirren!!!”) are the real vermin.
