If you look at the reaction of democrats in Cal it is because Trump is fighting back and trying to enforce the laws. The harder he fights, the more the push back. Look at the comments from the governor and the state AG. And we have the mayor of Oakland warning criminals that the feds are coming to deport them.
Flash back a few years ago LA. A young black high school player who is going to go to a four year school on scholarship is walking home from school alone. His last name is Shaw. A car pulls up with two young hispanics and they ask him what gang he is in. He replies, I am not in gang and they shoot and kill him. That answer is risky because it implies you don't have back-up on the street. If you said crips that might be risky because hispanic gangs and crips are often at war over drug territories. But if the answer was EME (Mexican mafia) or MS 13 you might be safe. He is black and without tattoos, so he is not safe. There is no right answer for him, so in the minds of a punk thug gangster, he should be shot. In a book about the Mexican Mafia written about 5 years ago, a former LAPG gang officer said the Hispanic gangs were trying to drive blacks out of neighborhoods so that Hispanics could move in. It's a grab for territory. Kill three or four blacks in a community and people start thinking about moving out.
Shaw's parents went to the city council to get them to overturn the city policies on cops not asking nationality when they pull someone over and to report jail releases to ICE so they could pick them up before release. The city council laughed and some read the newspaper while the parents made an impassioned plea. Why, because there was no way they would change the policy which would result in more deportations.
We know all about Kate in SF. But 4 years before, 3 members of a family in SF were killed at a lane merger by two illegal aliens who were released from jail the previous week with no notice to ICE. They were illegal aliens. The city council refused to listen to the family and Newsom and later Harris always supported illegals even over victims families.
The state has put illegals over the safety of its citizens. Sanctuary State law just the most recent example. Are they really that hungry for more democratic votes in Cal. Well yes, but something more serious and deeper is going on below the surface and almost no media has said a peep. There is a revolution underway to return the southwest to Mexico or at least make it an all-Mexican region within the US. That movement for the last 35-40 years is called La Reconquista.
This is a classic frog boiling scenario. Starts with overturning prop 187 which allowed no benefits for illegals. Gov Gay Davis refused to appeal a lower court decision. Then of course, we need ESL in schools so that the poor kids won't lose their culture. Then drivers licenses for illegals. The kids flooding in with their families tied behind them by a chain. You can lie in Cal and get a ballot. No one checks birth certificate or passport. I worked polling places three times. And if you have a drivers license you can do most anything.
Hit and runs and traffic accidents involving illegals is rampant. If you don't have uninsured driver insurance you're taking great risk.
Uneducated people are being squeezed out of jobs in favor of illegals. A man recently went to work as a dish washer. He was black. There were 4 other bus boys and dishwashers, all illegal. They only spoke Spanish in front of him and it was clear to him he was being ridiculed and laughed at. No one wants to take job in that kind of setting.
Now employers are told the state will fine and imprison them if the call ICE or warn their employees ICE is coming less than three days ahead of time.
A few years ago 500,000 people were in the street in LA demonstrating and rioting against the police for "rights of immigrants (read illegal immigrants)." Congress members are advocates for illegals. Mayors like in LA bend over backwards and forwards to show support.
The president of the Cal senate, Kevin De Leon announced proudly after Trump was elected that he had helped half his family come and stay here illegally. He has not been investigated or arrested. He is now leading candidate for US senator because the dems didn't endorse Feinstein. She's too moderate for them donchano.
The spitting in the face of the president, law violations, interfering with ICE, is rampant in California.
Last week the state AG and a congress member called for the elimination of ICE. And we have seen the litany of liberal judges pro-illegal alien decisions on various threads here. The point of all this is the war is underway and the front is wide and deep.
Many people like me, white, retired, fairly well off, are leaving the state. this exacerbates the problem. You know when enemy armies move in, the populace migrates away. That is what happening. The only counter is a few hundred ICE agents and Trump and sessions filing law suits which will take months while the war continues and the conquering army gets larger.

Expedite the new wall in the south all along the CAL Mexican border. Increase the employer raids by ten fold.
This is a national security issue and the president's power is not subject to the whim of judges.
I encourage the use and reference to the term La Conquista to have it become part of the common vernacular. Unlike Obama it is important for us the call the enemy by it's name.

The road to doing something leads through the DHS and the DOJ. This really requires Trump’s intervention. The respective cabinet secretaries don’t seem to be taking any action. Ice’s efforts are a drop in the ocean and won’t make any real difference. Action must be taken against the California state and local officials to have any significant impact.

Perhaps the U.S. should give California back to Mexico. Then turn around and invade all of Mexico. If a few Democrat politician’s become collateral damage, oh well that’s war.

not all of Mexico is a shithole if you’re in the top 75 families. In Cal there is a very wealthy upper class. It is about power and tradition and they believe they are entitled. They don’t care what downtown looks like ion you never have to go there.
If we had mass deportation unemployment would disappear.

This is true of all shithole countries. An oasis in the middle of a shithole is well, still a shithole. Heck even communism is great if you are one of the few elites, everyone else, not so much.
