This is a vanity post… but a very real question.
I have been reading the vicious 'deep state' reaction to the firing of Andrew McCabe. It is the most 'over the top' 'fightin words' I have every seen/heard in my lifetime.
My question is this, Can this level of venom continue without bloodshed? Are we in uncharted territory?

I suspect there will be bloodshed. If conservatives are smart, it will isolated, targeted, and effective. And a lot of it wont look like bloodshed.
The one thing that they should not do is let them scurry away

Saul Alinsky’s Rules from Rules for Radicals
Saul Alinsky describes 24 rules in Rules for Radicals. Of those 24 rules, 13 are rules of “power tactics”:

The remaining 11 rules Alinsky describes are concerned with “the ethics of means and ends”:
1. “One’s concern with the ethics of means and ends varies inversely with one’s personal interest in the issue … Accompanying this rule is the parallel one that one’s concern with the ethics of means and ends varies inversely with one’s distance from the scene of conflict.”
2. “The judgment of the ethics of means is dependent upon the political position of those sitting in judgment.”
3. “In war the end justifies almost any means.”
4. “Judgment must be made in the context of the times in which the action occurred and not from any other chronological vantage point.”
5. “Concern with ethics increases with the number of means available and vice versa.”
6. “The less important the end to be desired, the more one can afford to engage in ethical evaluations of means.”
7. “Generally success or failure is a mighty determinant of ethics.”
8. “The morality of a means depends upon whether the means is being employed at a time of imminent defeat or imminent victory.”
9. “Any effective means is automatically judged by the opposition as being unethical.”
10. “You do what you can with what you have and clothe it with moral garments.”
11. “Goals must be phrased in general terms like ‘Liberty, Equality, Fraternity,’ ‘Of the Common Welfare,’ ‘Pursuit of Happiness,’ or ‘Bread and Peace.’”
It is not their nightmare. It is outside their conception. There base firmly believes that such can never happen here, or they would treasure the Second Amendment.
The leadership mostly believes it would never happen because they hold the reins to media power.
The idea that it could happen is completely denied by them. If they are forced to consider it, their entire conception of realilty is destroyed.

I was very slow to criticize Sessions. He may have seemed docile to fool the enemies.

I find it disturbing when a sixth grade teacher, in assigning students to write a persuasive letter to an elected official, has to tell them - 6th grade, mind you - to be respectful if they choose to write to President Trump. The amazing thing is that the hated persona of President Trump was manufactured by the Clinton campaign and promoted by their allies in the media. He is not a racist/xenophobe/misogynist, and has he record to prove it... all of that came after he announced in June 2015.

Treasure is gained in two ways only, by capitalism and by war and pillage. Most downfalls of civilizations, countries and kingdoms happened when overrun by marauders and gangsters. We are primely set up for this.

All one has to do is examine the distribution of weapons in the US. That distribution dictates the outcome.

Not even close.
There are over 300 million private arms in the US, at least 40 million of which are “assault weapons”.
Private business also has more explosives on hand than the combined US military.
Not to mention all the private vehicles, machine shops, lathes, welders...all sort and every kind of machine tool and industrial equipment.
One reason I have been rather quiet on this topic recently is that I think war is likely. There is no point in debating the question anymore. If the deep state harms Trump, or a rogue Congress removes him, the fighting begins. It is shameful that it has come to this in the greatest nation God ever blessed. But humankind it prone to corruption and, therefore; every nation needs to be renewed. That probably will take the form of a bloodletting.
I notice that nobody really talks about protesting in Washington DC any more like in the days of the TEA party movement.
I think this is because we cannot agree on whether to bring our guns or not, and the real fear is that we may end up having no choice BUT to bring them and, then end up having to use them.
The enemy needs to know that they are on our lawn, and this is not just a political game anymore.
I hate this crazy talk, I hope they are reading it.
