He didn’t get any higher than a commercial jet flight.

And no word on what he thought of what he saw.

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that Earth is not flat.

1,875 feet. Couldn’t he just fly a Cessna 172 to 10,000 feet?

Worked pretty good. Seems that he’d have been better off by just going to the edge of the earth so he could fly right off and take pics of the other side /s

Dumbass kids not paying any attention...

Steam powered rocket? The guy basically built a water rocket big enough to ride. Wild.

I don’t think he was really a flat earther. He just used it to get publicity for his project and funds from the flat-earthers.

Wacky...but I gotta give him his proper dues for his selfmade success..early automobiles were steam powered but boiler container weakness spelled their doom...maybe his construction techniques could be used to build a safe..efficient steam car...

1875 feet? That’s not even a half-mile!!! I could launch an Estes model rocket higher than that back in the early 70’s....

His theories are silly but my hat is off to this man who sat on a steam powered rocket of his own building and flew it to a few thousand feet.

I would be honored to hold his beer.

The rocketeer launched himself about 1,875 feet into the air on Saturday, March 24

The first Interview :
Mission accomplished, I got proof, I went 1875 ft and the earth looks flat with rounded edges, just like a Frisbee.

But next time I just use the elevator to the top of the Shanghai Tower.

I don’t believe this story. Heavier-than-air flight is impossible.

Thankfully he ran out of steam before he crashed into the sky. If he would have cracked a hole in the sky all the air would escape and everyone would die.

Model rockets w GoPros could have done a better job. I recall one such team already documenting the curvature of Earth that way.
